As we pause and take some time at year end to reflect on each of our companies and Ambassador Supply as a whole, it’s clear that all our successes are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and talent of each one of you. We’ve done well this year both with financial results as well as our cultural and eternal focus. It’s been a very challenging economic market and all of our companies on the steel side and the residential side have overcome these challenges together and posted solid positive results. We’ve taken a short time off from acquisitions and invested time building the business units where each of you work.

Your efforts to foster a collaborative environment focused on results and innovation have made all the difference. As we continue to grow and expand, we know that our continued determination will guide us toward even greater achievements. I am confident that the best is yet to come, and we are poised for a future filled with new opportunities and accomplishments.

During this season, we also take time to reflect on the deeper meanings of life, growth, and hope. The birth of Jesus, Savior of the world, reminds us of the power of redemption, love, and the transformative impact one life can have. His message of peace, joy, and unconditional love encourages us to carry those same principles into our work and relationships. As we celebrate the Christmas season, let’s embrace the spirit of hope and renewal, knowing that together, we will achieve extraordinary things in our communities to make a lasting difference in each other’s lives and in the world around us.

“Seeing an opportunity in the need for metal roofing suppliers, Harvey Zimmerman founded Hixwood Metal as a Graber Post Buildings dealership in Stanley, Wisconsin, in 1998. The company thrived by sourcing and reselling steel and post-frame buildings. Within just a few years, the business grew so much that Harvey needed assistance.

J.T. joined Ideal Steel as the new General Manager, effective March 18, 2024. J.T.’s most recent position was at Bodycote as General Manager. He also has prior management experience in private manufacturing and the oil & gas industry. J.T. resides in Opelousas, LA, and is active in his church as well as being a volunteer coach for the War Chief’s youth baseball program and Westminster Christian Academy.

Steve started with Pioneer Truss back in 2006 doing truss design and sales. After a short stint away, he returned to Pioneer as the Operations Manager. After some years in that role and when the time arrived for Chris to pass the baton, Steve was selected to lead the company into its next era. One of his favorite things about his current role as GM is being able to help develop the path for the company and employees, all the while working to develop the strategic direction.

Alex comes to us with over 20 years of finance and accounting experience. In his role, he will oversee all accounting functions for Astro Buildings. His experience and skillset will play a significant role in driving continuous improvement in not just financial reporting and analysis, but other Astro processes as well.

As the new Controller at Straight Line, Michaela will be instrumental in providing the financial statements, key financial metrics and analysis to help Straight Line achieve strong profitable results, plus she will oversee all the fun accounting functions necessary such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.

We saw some impactful growth across all of our companies in 2024—for which we are very thankful.
