Our desire at Ambassador Supply has always been to serve all of our team members with high care, high trust, and high performance. When Rival Holdings (our parent company) was created (2023) to manage Ambassador Supply, Defy, and our other sister companies, this desire continued.
For the sake of communication to all our stakeholders—employees, vendors, customers and potential new industry partners—it became apparent that one name for the ownership would make the most sense. For this reason, we have begun the process of adopting the names of Rival Residential, Rival Rural, and Rival Commercial to reorganize the companies formally a part of the Ambassador Supply family.
This realignment means that the company you work for will continue to be owned and now be managed by the same parent company (Rival) that previously owned Ambassador Supply. Our CEO, Brad Crawford, continues to lead Rival Holdings like he previously did Ambassador Supply. As it relates to your local leadership and day-to-day operations, these adjustments at the parent-company-level will hardly be noticed.
The lumber side of the Ambassador Supply companies will become part of Rival Residential. The post-frame side will become Rival Rural. The pre-engineered metal building side will become part of Rival Commercial. David McDonald will lead Rival Residential and I will lead both Rival Rural and Rival Commercial. The leadership changes have taken place and the legal entities will adjust in the days to come.
We want to be transparent about what’s shifting and what isn’t—so rest assured that we will provide any relevant and helpful details along the way. In the meantime, nothing fundamentally changes for any of your roles. Again, we remain committed to high care, high trust and high performance.

Orgain Building Supply, a cornerstone of the Clarksville construction and home improvement community for over a century, is undergoing a transformative remodel aimed at elevating the customer experience. Known for its extensive inventory of building materials—from lumber and roofing to cabinets and flooring—Orgain is now investing in a full-scale renovation of its facilities, including a soon-to-be-unveiled showroom that will serve as a comprehensive selection center.
Jack Tarr

Astro Buildings is pleased to announce the appointment of Jack Tarr as its new general manager.
Tarr brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in operations, sales, manufacturing, and quality. He most recently served as Operations and Sales Manager at Patriot Crane and Rigging. Tarr holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Science in Finance from Bellevue University.
